Both daughters of Kamal Haasan have managed to carve a niche for themselves. The two young girls are growing up to be smart and talented individuals, creating an identity unaffected by the name and fame of their star parents, Kamal and Sarika.
While Shruthi is gearing up for a career in music and as an actress, younger sister Akshara is making waves on the dance floor.
This young girl of sixteen has just cleared the the first bronze test in ballroom latin conducted by the UK Alliance of Professional Teachers Of Dancing. In the 2012 London Olympics, Ballroom Latin will be a competitive sport. Akshara has set her eyes at representing India in the sport.
To qualify for the Olympics she's got 4 more levels to pass in the next 5 years.
But with the dancing genes from her father, looks like Akshara will definitely make her mark.
